Stone Decorative Paper is produced through a process that involves a machine which is used to crush limestone and rocks into calcium carbonate powder. This powder is then processed with a non-toxic high density polyethylene. After that, the cellulose fibers are mixed with the water and it is then cut into a sheet of paper with a paper making machine.
Besides being environmentally friendly, stone paper is also very strong and durable. It is very easy to write on and is able to resist tear, abrasion, and chemicals. In fact, the stone paper is even more durable than regular paper and it absorbs less ink. Another advantage of this type of paper is that it has nanometer-sized pores. As a result, it is not susceptible to dust or oil.
Compared to ordinary paper, stone paper is not only more expensive but it is also more difficult to obtain. Therefore, it is not recommended for bulk paper. But it is a good alternative for notebooks and other forms of writing.

Also, it has a very high elasticity. Unlike normal paper, it does not require coating or bleaching. And it does not have a charged chemical on the surface, making it highly resistant to penetration by insects and rodents.
